Where the grass grows green, the livestock never have a bad day, and the children run wild and refuse to do the dishes.

Start From the very beginning

I recommend you start here if this is your first time visiting the site. It’ll give you a good overview of what we do and why.

who we are & how we got here

It’s been a wild ride. After we left the military life we started to looking for ways to start the healing process. We packed up what few belongings we had and drove across the country with two young girls, a baby on the way, and all the dogs to get to where we are now. It’s been 13 years since we started this crazy journey and we haven’t looked back once.

The Hogs

If you know us, you know our hogs. From the head tatoos to the campfire stories being told while devoring the tastiest pork in the universe, it’s pretty obvious we’re infatuated with our chosen breed. For good reason, too. This endangered heritage breed is deeply rooted in America’s history, and once a upon a time these black hairy hogs dotted homesteads across the nation.
